New at retail this plane sells for $275. This plane is lightly used and in excellent condition. 8 7/8" long Cherry body with a Lignum Vitae sole, excellent 48mm / 1 7/8" wide iron, adjustable mouth. Made by E.C. Emmerich in West Germany so it was made before 1990.

BUT we really need more affordable jack planes for people to make into fore planes. I know many sellers have no 5 planes by Stanley and other makers. You can also add transitional and even wooden planes to the category "Make these 5s into fores". It's right there on the homepage.
