Details
Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover has a few creases near edges; light-scuffing, (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (photo/credits); one seam partially split. Spine is mostly easy-to-read with mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
No Jacket Required features guest vocalists, including Peter Gabriel and Sting. Some of the songs, like Don't Lose My Number and Sussudio were based around improvisation. Don't Lose My Number and Take Me Home were top 10 hits in the Billboard Hot 100, with Sussudio and One More Night reaching number one. All four singles were promoted by music videos. The album won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 1985. No Jacket Required was named after an incident at The Pump Room in Chicago, where Phil Collins was denied admittance to the establishment because of his attire.
