Details
This board is built from locally recycled Central Texas Pecan, framed by a subtle-contrast border of Walnut and Maple. The centerpiece features a genuine silver-leaf inlay that has been professionally sealed to be 100% food-safe. By using a full end-grain construction, the wood fibers stand vertically, allowing your knife blade to slip between them rather than cutting across them. This "self-healing" action keeps your edges sharp and prevents the deep scarring common in standard flat-grain boards.
To give it a stable, "pro" feel on the counter, I’ve mounted the board on 1" stainless steel feet. These elevate the board to allow for proper airflow during drying and provide a rock-solid foundation that won’t budge during heavy prep.
The Build The Wood: Locally sourced Central Texas Pecan with a structural border of Maple and Walnut. The Hardware: 1" stainless steel feet for stability and hygiene. The Finish: Deep-saturated overnight in a mineral oil bath and finished with a hand-applied food-safe wax to lock in moisture.
Dimensions Size: 12.5" x 12" Thickness: 1.5"
Care & Maintenance To preserve the Pecan grain and the silver inlay: Hand wash only with warm water and mild soap. Dry immediately after washing; never leave it to soak or sit in moisture. Apply a fresh coat of mineral oil or board butter periodically to keep the wood fibers hydrated and the grain looking rich.

Hey y'all, I started this business in high school over Covid because of my excessive free time. I love to innovate on the design process and make furniture that seems impossible at a first glance. I am going to school for mechanical engineering and love to push the limits of whats possible in the furniture realm.
