Details
Still in ORIGINAL SHRINK-WRAP (opened). Vinyl plays nicely; a few light hairlines (play-graded). Cover has a few creases near edges; light-scuffing, surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (photos/credits). Spine is easy-to-read with little-to-no wear. Very-mild shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of very-light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
King's Record Shop generated four No. 1 singles for Rosanne Cash on the Billboard country singles chart: The Way We Make a Broken Heart, If You Change Your Mind, Tennessee Flat Top Box (which was written and originally sung by father Johnny Cash), and Runaway Train. The album is named after King's Record Shop in Louisville, Kentucky, which was owned by Pee Wee King's younger brother, Gene. A photograph of Rosanne Cash standing in the shop's doorway is featured on the cover, though she was never actually at the shop for the photo. Veteran steel guitarist Hank DeVito took the photo of the record shop and one of Rosanne standing as she is in the photo. He superimposed her into the record shop photo (Music City News magazine, August 1987).
