Details
Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover has some scuffing, creasing (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (photo/credits); one seam partially split. Spine is easy-to-read with mild wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge, some wear to corners. Opening shows signs of light use and a few divots. (Not a cut-out.)
Seven Year Ache, by Rosanne Cash, was produced by her then-husband Rodney Crowell and reached No. 1 on the Billboard country album chart and No. 26 on Billboard 200. Two of its tracks were also No. 1 in the U.S. country singles category: My Baby Thinks He's a Train and Blue Moon with Heartache. The title track crossed over to the pop charts and reached No. 22 on the Hot 100 and No. 6 on the Adult Contemporary Chart. The song was Cash's first No. 1 hit on the U.S. country charts. Harmony and backup vocals on this album are done by Emmylou Harris. A reviewer from allmusic.com said, "the bottom line is that Rosanne Cash's masterpiece Seven Year Ache paved the way for Garth Brooks, Shania Twain, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Shawn Colvin, and then some. Proclaimed by Cash and her husband/producer/collaborator, Rodney Crowell, as "punktry," the album adds an entirely new twist on the Nashville sound. Over 20 years after it was first issued, Seven Year Ache sounds as fresh and revolutionary as it did when it was issued. Any album that stands that test of time in a field like country deserves to be regarded as a classic. Yes, this is the one that changed everything.
