Stanley Plane Iron 2-3/8" For No's 4-1/2, 6, 7, 604-1/2, 606, 607, 51 W/"BB" TM

This is an original replacement Stanley plane iron for metallic planes. It is 2-3/8" wide, which works with hand plane No's 4-1/2, 5-1/2 (post 1936 only), 6, 7, 604-1/2, 605-1/2, 606, 607, and 51. It has the "BB" trademark used after 1935 and was salvaged from a type 18 (1946-1947) No. 6 plane. It has a nice freshly-ground bevel but will need honed for use.
