The whistling teacup is a wonderful musical toy and a beautiful ceramic drinking cup. Fill the cup with any liquid above the level of the inner hole, and then blow into the little bird. Your teacup will whistle like a nightingale!

Our Whistling Teacup is just the latest version of a toy that has existed for about a thousand years. The French used Whistling Teacups to imitate nightingales in competition, and the English used such toys to ward off evil household spirits. We hope this whimsical cup brings you many hours of enjoyment.
