VTG fine weave basket, Japan, bamboo wicker, dark & light checkerboard pattern

7.5 inches tall by 9 inches wide at rim, bamboo wicker woven basket, fine, split bamboo pieces over bamboo frame. Made in Japan. Dark and light weave makes checkerboard pattern inside and out. Perfect for placing a plant pot inside. Good condition, bottom is water stained, sides have approx. 4 places where small piece of weave has broken. 3 broken pieces on the bottom. (See all photos)
